By using lufs.to you agree to the terms below. They're short on purpose.

Purpose

lufs.to exists primarily to archive and preserve information: what recordings measured, how they were mastered, and who was credited. It's a reference for the curious, not a commercial service.

Trademarks and copyright

Artist, band, and engineer names; album, track, and label titles; and any logos or artwork are trademarks and/or copyrights of their respective owners. They're used here only to identify the recordings measured. lufs.to isn't affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any artist, label, studio, or platform mentioned. We don't host or distribute any audio.

Accuracy

Every effort is made to keep the data accurate, but accuracy isn't guaranteed. Credits are checked against published sources such as Discogs and Beatport, and omitted when they can't be verified. Measurements describe the specific release, pressing, or file measured; other masters, reissues, and streaming versions of the same music can measure differently. The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and we're not liable for decisions made using it. See Methodology for how measurements are made.

Hand-curated, not exhaustive

The database is built by hand, one release at a time. It doesn't attempt to cover every artist, release, or engineer, and the absence of something doesn't mean it doesn't exist or isn't notable.

Ownership of the data

The measurements and the curated dataset as a whole, including its selection, structure, and credit relationships, are owned by lufs.to. Underlying facts about recordings, and the third-party marks and works above, remain the property of their respective owners.

Non-commercial use

The data is free to use for non-commercial purposes, provided you credit lufs.to and link back to lufs.to. See Our Data.

Commercial use

Any commercial use of the data requires a license from us, including redistributing it or building it into a product or service. See Our Data for examples and how to get in touch.

Corrections and removal requests

If you spot an error or you're a rights holder with a concern about how something is presented, contact us through Mastering.to and we'll look into it promptly.

Acceptable use

Don't use the site in a way that disrupts it or other people's use of it, including aggressive automated scraping, and don't misrepresent the data or its source. We may restrict access to anyone who does.

Changes

We may update these terms, and the site itself, at any time. Continuing to use lufs.to after a change means you accept the updated terms.
